We are excited to announce that our new and refreshed official website is live. The official website of Anti Malaria Campaign has taken a giant step ahead in website development industry meeting standards of many dynamic web content publishing systems.
The new website is comprising of fully responsive layout. And alternate versions for easy view on desktops, tablets and mobile devices.
Powered by a strong content management system, our aim is to bring you the latest, accurate, relevant content in a very innovative, attractive and interactive manner. Compared to previous versions we have improved the information architecture of the contents supported by the specific objectives of Anti Malaria Campaign Headquarters. Most of the data visualization tools are live updated by the dedicated database operators.
Our aim to capture a wide range of audience from public to technical experts on malaria both locally and internationally.
We have implemented many strategies to make this website more interactive such as using an internal feedback system to know how well we are doing, testimonial page for sharing common thoughts about our website and most importantly live chat feature which is handled by officers at Anti Malaria Campaign.
The official launch of the new web portal of Anti Malaria Campaign of Sri Lanka was held at the World Malaria day 2018: Media Conference which was held on 24th of April 2018 at the Balmoral Bangquet, the Kingsbury Hotel Colombo. Deputy Minister of Health Hon. Faizal Cassim, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Deputy Director General of Health Services – Public Services (1) Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Director of Anti Malaria Campaign Dr. H D B Herath were passed into history books of Anti Malaria Campaign by officially launching the website in a glamarous manner on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine of Sri Lanka to the General Public of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and to the international community.
The initial core development & design was done by Dr. C H Senanayake, Medical Officer of Health Informatics with the utmost dedication of the IT Unit of Anti Malaria Campaign and the joint collaboration of the entire staff of various categories of Anti Malaria Campaign backed by a strong guidance of consultants which was the main key towards its success.
