RMO Review- 2nd Quatre 2026

The Annual Review Meeting of Regional Malaria Officers (RMOs) was held on 20 and 21 August 2026 in Anuradhapura, with the participation of all RMOs and staff of the Anti Malaria Campaign (AMC) Headquarters. The review provided an opportunity to assess the progress of malaria prevention and surveillance activities carried out during the year, discuss achievements and challenges at regional level, and identify priority areas for further improvement. The meeting also facilitated sharing of experiences, strengthening coordination between the AMC Headquarters and regional teams, and planning future activities to sustain malaria elimination and prevent the re-establishment of malaria in Sri Lanka.
